I love the writing, the actors and the fact that it's so surreal. There is such great connection between the whole cast that makes you want to keep watching and watching and watching... The plot is really great, and keeps me entertained, humored and wondering what will happen in the next episode. Plus, ya gotta love that Josh Jackson is Canadian:)

Dawson's Creek. Well, it deals with realistic issues, yet adds a touch of humor, fun, drama, sometimes "out of the ordinary" plot twists and everything else! What more could you ask for? I find their strong vocabulary stimulating and provactive. Extensive Wednesday night viewing, (Fridays for us in Canada) it is certainly worthy!

The reason i like dawsons creek is because it is a show that deals with some real life issues. Although some of the things on dc don't happen often they do happen. Dawsons creek is a show that has interesting characters and it really makes you wonder what would i do if that happened to me.

The DCBB has no real reasons for disliking DC. Let's take too of their points: (1) the cast is ugly; (2) the stories are unrealistic. Well, maybe the makeup people make the cast a little on the unperfect side so the show will be more realistic? The cast are models, and the stories are as realistic as anything I've seen. And even if they weren't, it's television. It's supposed to be entertaining, not realistic. And I'm really sick of them using Buffy tVS as a crutch for not liking DC.

I like disention and doing weird things. Plus, I think your site has some very valid points, and I find it to be a worthwhile cause.

Here's why I love DC. First, the plot right off the bat struck me as original, and very intriguing. The commercials left me wanting more, and I couldn't wait until the show's premiere. Next, the atmosphere and look of the show and where it's shot is great. The Creek is beautiful! And the shot they always show of Dawson standing in his rowboat just gives me the chills [in a positive way, but I can't explain it!]. The actors and actresses do a great job, and they all have an appealing look to them [especially Joey]. The music is great, and I can't wait for the DC soundtrack! When it comes down to it, I think this is the best show I have ever had the pleasure to get involved in, and I secretly thank Kevin Williamson almost every day for being such a writtin genius.

I like Dawson's Creek, because me & my friends can relate to it in many ways. To be truthful, I hated it the first time I watched it. Finally my friends convinced me it was a good show, and now im hooked! Its awesome, I love the actors, and I love the plotline. I hope it runs for a long time. =)

I like Dawson's Creek because they portray teens as people with actual *gasp* responsibilities and *look of horror* respect for others. It show's that being in your teens isn't as easy as people make it out to be, there is a lot of pressure to succeed yadda yadda...

Hello! While I avidly dislike DC, and am a member of the DCBB, I think fans should have a chance to fight back, and your reasoning on this site is sound. I always find an intelligent dabate very interesting. Also, I am against the term "bashing," as that suggests that we have no valid reasons as to why we dislike the show. I'd prefer...criticizing. Anyways, feel free to respond to my reasons for disliking the show, some of which can be found on the DCBB web site.

It was only last night, when a dream of the cast emerged from the bottom of my mind.... Ok. I dreamed I met da cast. Big whoop! it starts there...... My walls are covered from floor ta ceiling with clippings, articles, pictures, posters, ANYTHING that even mentions da name "Dawson'sCreek." I have all the episodes taped, numbered, and labeled, ready fer watching. It was just last weekend I hosted my own Dawson's Creek Viewing Marathon :) Very fun! Well, be4 i get carried away......and this gets WAY 2 long, I'm gonna go

I have watched DC from the very first ep, loved it then and love it still. I own my own DC page which is also a Buffy Page too. But the reason I love DC so much is because it has to do with real life. Also there is no real violence(ie: killing) in the show. That's why I like DC, and that is why I will continue watching DC.

dc just premiered here in the philippines last monday, september 21 at a tv station called studio 23. my friends and i have read a lot about it from mags so we were really looking forward to it. when we've watched the pilot, we loved it (totally)! the characters of dc arent really all that good-looking and perfect which makes it cool and realistic. also the situations and plots are intriguing and interesting so its worth a watch. buffy the vampire slayer isn't being shown here anymore (i think) because it doesnt grab high ratings though it is on prime time. i like that show but i think dc is heaps better.

I like Dawson's Creek, because it's a show that shows everyone's point of view, even small characters, such as Mrs. Leery.
