The DCB4 Members Speak!

Welcome to Members Speak!

Finally, the first task of a fully pledged DCB4 member. For our newsletter, and section of our page called "Members Speak!" We need members to, er, well speak, right? So, here's your first job. Each week, (or day or month or whatever, depending on how we feel) You will be assigned a DC page to rank (could be anti or pro) This week's site is a pro DC/anti-Jen site. To rank it, e-mail Jen, with what you thought of the site, a rating from one to ten (10 being the best, 1 being the worst)a nd how you think the site could improve, etc.

The winning entry will get their review and name on the site (who knows, maybe even the DC cast will see it! :) and small portions of the rest will be used as well. Remember, this contest is only open to MEMBERS of the DCB4, the rest will be disregarded, so you might as well join to speak your opinion. To rank this week's site "I Hate Jen" click here

Here's Amanda's wonderful review of I Hate Jen:

This site was very plain, with a few links to click on. I don't really know if dedicating a whole webpage to hating a single character is worth it, but the authors tried. I myself will admit that I do not like Jen, the character. But this site was very boring with many links leading to message boards, chats and e-mails all dedicated to hating jen. There was really no fun in it at all. The theme song, and some of the quotes that watchers wished she had or will say were both kinda funny. At least some sites try to make it fun, while still expressing their opinions of the characters, but this site does not. They need to make it more inviting, or exciting to get people to go there. They also need to add an element of fun, and more things to do. My overall rating ofthis site out of 10: 4.8.

Well, I usually like Dawson's Creek bashing sites because theycan have funny jokes and also have intellectual people who have validpoints, but this site didn't display that quality very well. It's funny howall DC sites including this one to some respect spend SO MUCH time trying to rationalize why Dawson's Creek are stupid. It's kinda like the potcalling the kettle black because their biggest problem with the show is how intellectual the characters act and talk. Heck, I've seen people complaining about Dawson's Creek using words I've NEVER heard, and I've heard all of the long words the characters use on DC, just not from a teenager. Like has been said many times before, these teenagers saywhat we wish we could. Also, at this page it's hard to read his critiquesfor very long before you get bored and leave. I think this site would be better if they had a nice joke section and some more thought outreasoning for their critiques. My overall rating 1 out of 10: 3.8[I didn't really enjoy going there inthe slightest]
